Inventory Due to an agreement with some vendors, plus the fact that we carry a varied inventory in our shop, we are not able to offer all of our products in our online boutique. We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. Payment via PayPal is due at time of purchase. Your privacy is always secure and protected by PayPal’s SSL encrypted technology. Although we believe your credit card is completely safe when you shop with us online, we will gladly take your order over the telephone using your credit card. Simply telephone us at (250)592-0422 with the item or items you wish to purchase, along with your city and postal/zip code. We will prepare a shipping quote and can call or email you back. At the time of purchase, we will need the following information:type of credit card, credit card number, expiry date, three digit security code on back of card, address to which the card bills, your name, your shipping address, email address, and the best phone number you can be reach at if necessary.We are also happy to invoice you via PayPal, in which case you will not use the Shopping Cart in our online boutique. Purchase orders can also be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org . Please include your name, address, postal/zip code, and telephone #. We will invoice you via PayPal with shipping charges included. Postal money orders and personal cheques are also welcome and should be made out to French Vanilla Home and Garden and should include a copy of your order confirmation. Money Orders and Personal cheques not received within 10 days of purchase may result in cancellation of the item purchased.
Please NOTE: Shipping quotes shown during check-out are for Canadian addresses only. If purchasing more than one product we will do a combined shipping rate. Just email us at email@example.com or call us at (250) 592-0422 outlining the products you wish to purchase and we will provide a combined shipping rate for you.
For US or International shipping costs please contact us to see if shipping is feasible to your area. If we can ship the item to your location, we will email you a shipping quote. We take great care in packing your items to ensure they arrive safely. We ship items daily, Monday through Friday. We do not ship on weekends or Holidays. Items paid via credit card will ship within 48 hours (unless purchase is made on a weekend or holiday). Items paid via money order will ship upon receipt of your money order. Personal cheques must clear before item is shipped - usually 7-10 days upon receipt.
The amount of tax charged depends on many factors, including the destination of the shipment and the type of item purchased. All items shipped to destinations in Canada are subject to "GST" (Goods and Services Tax) at a rate of 5%. In addition, "PST" (Provincial Sales Tax) or "HST" Harmonized Sales Tax might apply, depending on the item and the destination of the shipment:
Note: Books are exempt from PST and the provincial portion of HST, but certain items (such as calendars and journals) are not exempt. For an item shipped to HST provinces, the tax on books will be shown as HST and calculated at the 5% GST rate.
Generally, tax is calculated on the total selling price of each individual item which includes shipping and handling charges.
As the amount appearing on your order at check-out is only an estimate of the applicable taxes, it may differ from the taxes ultimately charged when your item is shipped.
We take great pride in each piece we offer you and we are confident that you will enjoy your item for years to come. Our vintage items are beautiful timeworn finds. We believe the dings, dents and imperfections add charm and character to the piece. We strive to accurately describe each item, but please look closely at the photo(s) or contact us if you have any questions at all about the item before you purchase. However, if you are unsatisfied with the item purchased, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of item. Sorry we are unable to refund shipping fees. Please contact us for pre-approval on all returns before sending back to ensure your return is handled properly. Returns cannot be accepted without prior approval.Items returned for refund or credit must be undamaged and in their original form for a full refund of your purchase price.
All sales are final on Sale Items, Vintage/One of a Kind Items, Magazines/Books and Perishable/Gourmet Items, therefore no refunds, exchanges, or store credits will be issued.
